Vargas Girls Power of Pinup Magazine
Our Story
The Vargas Girls pinup group started in 2022 with a goal to create a sisterhood of women that have a passion for pinup. To create a supportive environment that enables women interested in pinup to encourage one another and create lasting memories. Our newest initiative for 2025 is to launch the Vargas Girls Power of Pinup magazine.
Magazine Inforamtion
The magazine will come out quarterly in March, June, September, and December for 2025. We are happy to join the amazing community of pinup publishers and excited to further expand the promotion of pinup through this medium. The magazine will start accepting submissions for the first issue as of February 1, 2025. Deadlines will be the 15th of month and magazine will be published at the end of each quarter. The magazine will focus on 1940 through 1950s pinup style and will be limited to ten accepted sets per issue.

Submission Inforamtion
First, only original sets that have never been published will be included in an issue. This publication will focus on showcasing the talents of both the Model and the photographer, so all submissions will be reviewed by a panel of pinup experts and photographers. Thus, sets selected will be considered with the following criteria in mind.
- Adherence to the 1940 and 1950s era
- Quality of hair, makeup, and wardrobe
- Quality of set (studio or location sets will be accepted)
- Contain no watermarks
- Files should be high resolution with a file size of 1.2 or larger (megabytes or 2250 pixels by 3300 at a minimum)
- Submit 10 best images from the set
- Accept both portrait and landscape images and prefer portrait images cropped to 8.5 x 11 and landscape to 17 x 11
- Please include a short bio if possible
